largo love
i adore anything recorded at the legendary Largo and Hitchcock's largo shows are particularily wonderful because of all the covers and guests he attracts. Anything with Jon Brion (i would love to see his own largo shows on the archive) is a particular joy.
Notes
Robyn Hitchcock with Jon Brion, Grant Lee Phillips and others.
Lot's of Jon and Grant in the first set. Best IFB ever due to Grants tasty guitar licks and harmonies. A loud and wicked IJ. A great second set, mostly with Jon and Grant and ending with a full band. Some silly moments, but for the most part genuinely nice versions of some great covers. Enjoy.
